Laminate Facts and Ways of Stacking it on the Floor
Laminate flooring has gained its popularity in the 80’s thanks to the Swedish company, which started a mass producing of this remarkable flooring. Ever since the date till this day, laminate flooring is very popular because of its low price, unmatched appearance and remarkable performance. Laminate flooring actually is a panel, which is made of MDF or particle board, which includes paper impregnated with special resins. This paper develops layers and compacted to the main plate by means of high pressure and high temperature. The wear resistance and durability of the laminate is defined by the number contained therein, the resin, the thickness of the various layers and other factors. Laying laminate requires little effort and takes very little time. There are two ways of stacking the laminate: using a glue (so-called “tongue and groove”) and by means of locks.
