kary one design was commissioned by fantasia holdings chengdu to link children?s education with an aesthetic environment resulting in blossom school. located in china, the school advocates for the ?aesthetic education of the future?. kary one design intended to provide a space that enables users to explore it entirely, and feel relaxed and pleased at the same time.

the architects filled the spaces with pastel colors and soft shapes, creating a soothing environment for the children. the interior design is meant for children to experience as play areas, or games, and for them to use their wild imaginations. the architects also wanted to bring a ?beaturiful world into children?s lives?, appealing to the aesthetic, clean lines and the cohesive color and material palettes.

each area of the school has its own character and features different colored elements. the entrance lobby features a delicate mural, made out of a metal lattice of shapes and patterns. it serves as the backdrop for the reception desk, which is lined with small plants and white flowers, providing a welcoming entrance for both kids and the parents. the greenery and subtle lighting sets a calm and relaxed mood, ideal for children to enter into a more tranquil space.
