Farmhouse style goes to Tuscany One of the most influential design trends of the last decade was defined by HGTV?s hit TV show Fixer Upper. From 2013 to 2018?and in the reruns that followed?Chip and Joanna Gaines flipped outdated homes in Waco, Texas, into photogenic iterations of the same ?modern farmhouse.?
Now, a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home remodeled on the show in season four is on the market. The 3,577-square-foot property was nick-named the ?Hot Sauce House? by Chip after the couple discovered Tabasco-themed wallpaper in the one of the rooms. Over the course of the show, the dated ranch was transformed into what the Gaines called a ?rustic Italian dream home.? A few Italian influences may exist, but the home is standard Fixer Upper fare. A former garage was remodeled into a high-end living room with a vaulted ceiling, rustic beams, and French doors. Other farmhouse-inspired touches include marble countertops, hardwood floors, sliding barn doors, and a master bath with free-standing tub.
Interested" 3391 Speegleville Road is on the market now for $645,000.
