Inside a Splendid Empty Castle in Italy

Photographer Roman Robroek traveled to a splendid castle in Italy, called Castello di Sammezzano. The construction was looked after volunteers. Today it is the object of an auction, its destiny is not sure. Ceilings and floors are ornamented of stunning mosaics. Colorful stained-glass windows enhances all the rooms. The castle, located in the region of Florence, is oponed for the public for guided visits.
