Impressive European 3D Facade
The impressive 3D facade entrance to the modular building of Europe in Amsterdam was created in honor of taking six-month presidency of the Netherlands to the European Union. Inspired by the yachts in the marina of “Heijmans” and “DUS Architects’ made this white facade in 3D printing process. The facade resembling sails is enriched by programmed lighting color by “Philips” and blue benches also in 3D printing.
On January first 2016, Luxembourg was handed the presidency of the Union and the Netherlands. In the next six months, international meetings will be held in the building of Europe, and this marvelous modular structure that can accommodate about 17,500 participants.
