Illusory Swimming Pool that Seems to Be Filled by Water
For a permanent exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa (Japan), Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich imagined an illusory pool that seems filled by water and plays with our perception. The viewer (inside or outside of the installation) has the feeling of seeing a filled pool. This “fake” water is actually a 10 cm transparent blurred glass.
