Like Fixer Upper, but way more realistic Attention fans of home makeovers and all things Ikea: The Swedish furniture company will soon launch the fourth season of its Home Tour program, which sends a team of Ikea design experts into real homes to solve real problems, like a chaotic studio apartment or under-utilized living room?using all Ikea products, naturally.
Started in 2014, the series has already completed over 40 makeovers in cities like New York, Austin, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and more. This time around, the crew is returning to the Northeast and looking for homeowners in Boston, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. Applicants have to specify what kind of home design challenge they?re facing (more details here) and if selected, the Home Tour Squad will roll in with a complimentary room makeover and cameras to document the whole process.
