The best Serbian tennis player bought two apartments in a luxury building in Manhattan, designed by renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, published the newspaper “Wall Street Journal”.
By his own admission, Djokovic is a great admirer of the Italian architect.
Djokovic has bought an apartment in the building “Eighty-Seven Park” in Miami Beach. “I like the design of the two buildings and I think their location is fantastic. New York and Miami are on my list of travel every year and it will be exciting to have my own place where I can always come back, “said Djokovic.
The building ?565 Broome SoHo ?will be completed in 2018 and will consist two connected glass tower, with 115 housing units. Djokovic has bought two separate apartments on the building?s upper floors.
The glass panels will be rounded at the corners of the building so the edges that would interfere with an impressive panoramic view of the Hudson River and SoHo neighborhood is avoided. “565 Broome SoHo” will have an indoor swimming pool with salt water, a library, a fitness center and spa, however, not and tennis terrene.
The French design firm ?RDAI? will take care for the building?s interior.
