How and Why to Test the Split Tensile Strength Of the Concrete"
A secondary mechanical property right behind the compression strength is the tensile strength. There is a test for split tensile strength as a procedure that helps the construction workers to find the tensile strength value of the concrete they are working with. The concrete in general is poor in tension and it doesn’t resist substantial tension force.
