Still, beyond the entertainment pedigree, the property boasts a storied past?not to mention grand architecture. Known as Harptree Court and owned by the same family for over 100 years, the nine-bedroom country house was built in 1797 by Charles Harcourt Masters of Bath for Joshua Crope, according to Country Life magazine. After a few more change-of-hands, the estate was sold in 1920 to Charles Hill, whose grandchild is the present owner.
