Here?s the little drawing robot you didn't know you needed

Move over, 3D-printing pens, there?s a new boss in town, and it?s called Line-us 3D-printing pens are pretty cool, but do you know what?s even cooler" A 2D-doodler with a small robotic arm that can draw on paper?with an actual pen?anything you draw on a screen.
It?s called Line-us (pronounced ?Linus,? like the Peanuts character and just as cute) and was developed by Durrell Bishop, a product designer, and Robert Poll, a technologist.
Measuring just 3.3? x 3.8? x 1? and weighing 5.3 ounces, Line-us is WiFi-connected and comes with an app that allows users to draw on a tablet or phone with their finger or a stylus and see their creations come to life on paper in real-time. ?The little robot drawing arm,? as it?s officially called, even has its own style and character?squiggly and imperfect and oh-so adorable. In fact, the creators insist that Line-us is not a plotter or a printer?it?s a drawer.
Drawing party time!

The machine?s app lets users save and share their drawings, too, by sending them as messages or publishing them to a public gallery. It even allows artists to trace a photo, erase, mirror, or enlarge any image.
Line-us works on iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and smartphones, as well as on Mac and PC laptops. It can also interface with coding platforms, making it highly adaptable. Currently raising funds on Kickstarter, Line-us is poised to be a hit.
