The Hammerman House by Richard Neutra was built in 1954 in Los Angeles California. It always makes me smile to see a Neutra in good and cared for condition. He has to be one of my favorite architects. This house is currently on the market. The house was updated and expanded was attention to Neutr’s architectural style. I don’t mind some of the more contemporary furnishings mixed with mid century pieces, I thing they go well together. I am not a huge fan of the lighter wood in the kitchen and bath but that is just personal preference. The views are pretty outstanding with this property. I hope it goes to someone that will treat it with respect.
