Gryphon can manage an entire household?s internet activities

Created by the inventor of the MiFi device For parents and caretakers worried about the unfiltered internet activities of their minors, Gryphon, currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, may be just the product to help ease their minds. Developed by MiFi inventor?and fellow worried parent?John Wu, Gryphon is a WiFi router that can manage the web-browsing activities of an entire household through an easy-to-use app.
Using the app, parents can grant or deny access to individual websites, suspend connectivity during various times of the day, and even monitor smart home devices to prevent hacking. The Gryphon app also offers a social collaboration tool that allows families, friends, teachers, and other users to rate and recommend specific websites. The router itself is elegantly designed, resembling a small, twisted rectangular tower, and features the latest WiFi in technology, including six antennas, and a Tri-band router. It also provides coverage across 2,500 square feet, depending on the layout of the home.
Take a look at how it all works, in the (delightfully diverse) video below.
