Good Design Award
Chicago Museum of Architecture and Art in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Science has awarded the dining table “Confluence” with the prestigious “Good Design Award“. The dinning table was created by the Belgian designer Xavier Lust.
Its steel structure bends and cuts, shaping elegant sinusoidal curves and geometric shapes. The table is lying on thin legs like a tape, creating a feeling of lightness.
Unique features make it prominent product, in any of its versions. Square, rectangular, circular or oval: tabletop products are into four different shapes, which can be further adapted broad spectrum clipped, creating even 72 versions of the table. The award ceremony was held on 27 January in New York and was attended by a large number of designers, design companies and international journalists. “Confluence” will be found in the permanent exhibition of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and the “Good Design” for the 2016-2017 yearbook.
