GE space design combines cocktail workshop with hidden bar behind it in chengdu, china
GE space design has created an innovative cocktail workshop in chengdu, china, complete with a cozy tasting bar hidden behind it. located at the front of the site, the creddie workshop invites people in through its glass sliding doors to taste new cocktail recipes as well as receive training in drink making. at the same time, the tasting room bar is hidden behind the workshop, accessible through a black passage and a cabin door. there, a combination of raw materials, such as bamboo, stone, and wood creates a warm, cozy atmosphere where customers can enjoy their drinks away from the busy streets.all images by icy/ icyworks

based on the client?s rich experiences as a bartender, GE space design developed the creddie workshop with the aim of testing and developing numerous cocktail possibilities with different ingredients. the workshop is located at the front of the site and incorporates an open bar area with glass sliding doors that break the barrier with passersby. warm yellow lights and comfortable sitting places encourage people to walk inside and explore mystery of cocktail making, while they can also volunteer to taste a new drink recipe. additionally, the workshop also provides technical consultancy, drink menu development and personnel training for other bars or individuals in the city.
