Friday Five with Jackie Munoz

Co-founder of A-INDUSTRIAL, a design/build creative studio in downtown Los Angeles, Jackie Munoz focuses on residential and small business clients bringing her unique, personalized sensibility to each project. She began by studying Architecture and Environmental Design at California Polytechnic University in Pomona and Architecture at the National Technical University School of Architecture in Athens, Greece, and received a Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch) before going on to work in retail development and commercial design with clients like Walmart, Target, In-N-Out, and Home Depot, to name a few. Munoz’s diverse design interests in industrial, furniture, interior, graphic, and functional design come together with inspirations from traveling, nature, other designers, and comedy, as she approaches each project. 1. Natural Form and Pattern
I’ve always found an interest with things that shape the world around us, that is definitely something that inspires my work. Its form and pattern, whether it is something found in nature or man made, that is what sparks my inspiration to rear towards something special and unique.
