Floor
If you do often wonder how to solve the problem of noise that is heard in the attic also in the other rooms in your home, you should read further. The hitting sound or structural sound is characteristic for walls or mezzanine construction. It is generated during any hitting or moving items on basic ceiling (walking, moving of furniture, work of a washing machine in spin etc.) The sound can be transferred to the surrounding areas, through the side walls and to convey several floors above or below. We recommend for the area between floors and attic space (heating) or a low attic floor a floating floor construction with rock mineral wool insulation material. Floating floors are floors that do not touch supporting structure they are not directly on it but there is a separation by a sound – absorption insulation that stiflings the sound. That layer is called floating mass, which is sound absorbing or stifling layer, and the best solution is to be created a layer of rock mineral wool.
