Dongting Lake Museum, namely Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone Planning Museum is a large-scale comprehensive museum building located in the cultural pavilion area of Dongting Lake Expo Park in Junshan District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, on the east side of Tourist Road and the west bank of the Hao River.
The overall plan organizes outdoor space landscapes and stadium buildings according to ?one axis, two belts and three cores? spatial structure: ?One Axis? is the spatial guiding axis from Tourism Road to the east till waterfront cape; ?two belts? are waterfront landscape belt along the banks of Hao River, and the green landscape buffer zone separating the cultural venue area from the amusement park area and the commercial leisure service area; ?three cores? are three cluster buildings located in the space divided by ?one axis? and ?two belts?, including museums, one avenue and two centers, and reserved cultural fac...
