Dolce & Gabbana?s vibrant appliances for Smeg now available to preorder

Ahead of the 2017 Salone del Mobile in Milan, fashion powerhouse Dolce & Gabbana unveiled a second design collaboration with Italian appliance manufacturer Smeg.
The new line of small kitchen appliances, called ?Sicily Is My Love,? includes a toaster, kettle, juicer, and more, all adorned with decorations that reference Sicilian traditions and motifs.
As with 2016?s limited-edition refrigerators from D&G and Smeg, the two companies turned again to rich and colorful design elements. Golden lemons, purple figs, and vibrant fruits taken from the coast and landscape of Sicily are featured prominently. A blender is decorated with an image of Sicily?s Mount Etna and floral forms, an example of Dolce & Gabbana?s vision to link Sicilian decorative aesthetics and Smeg products. Three products from the line are now available to preorder at Neiman Marcus. The price" A cool $600 per piece.
