Have you ever seen a more exuberant kitchen range and hood" At the Eurocucina show of this year?s Salone del Mobile, Milanese fashion house Dolce & Gabbana just unveiled the latest additions to its collaboration with Italian appliance manufacturer Smeg.
The series, called ?Sicily Is My Love,? now includes two versions of the Victoria Range and Hood, a ?fiery red and orange? one inspired by Silician puppet theater, and a blue-and-white one inspired by a majolica print.

This week?s unveil also extended the collection?s line of small appliances, which already comprises a toaster, kettle, and citrus juicer, all adorned with decorations that reference Sicilian traditions and motifs (think golden lemons, purple figs, and Sicily?s Mount Etna). The new small appliances are a coffee machine, hand blender, and four-slice toaster; next to come will be a blender, espresso machine, stand mixer, and slow juicer.
Earlier this year, the line finally went on sale on Neiman Marcus?s website, where the small appliances are asking $600 a piece and the fanciful fridges that started it all can be had for $50,000 each.
