Design and Importance of a Functional Shading Device
For reducing the heat gain in a building are most commonly used shading devices. There are two common strategies adopted at the same time for this purpose – facade shading and fenestration shading. Any mechanical equipment or textiles that are used internally or externally or in both are Sun shading devices. That will help in creating a soothing micro-climate which is cool in the summers and warm in the winters. Blocking the direct heat gain in a building is possible with external shading devices or facade shading. The shading device will give the best results if its optimized according to the sun path, solar angle, in order to keep the summer heat away and winter sunshine in.
