Craig Ellwood in Los Angeles California
Craig Ellwood is synonymous with mid century modern architecture and some of his finest examples are found in the Los Angeles area. The Casa Kuderna house is currently on the market. The home recently went through a restoration by Maison D Artiste from the archives of Jim Tyler, the original architect who worked with Craig Ellwood. I have to say, the house and finishes are impeccable, I don’t know what they could have done better with this home. I love the color/material blocking, panels of yellow, walnut, and terrazzo define functionality and space. I greatly appreciate that no corners were cut and no budget was spared.
