Contemporary Space-Savvy Pool House Draped in Green Goodness
Most beautiful homes and structures start with a design conundrum. Instead of viewing it as a hindrance smart architects and designers find clever solutions that overcome the hindrance in grand style. Created by Robert Young Architects, this small and efficient pool house in Amagansett, New York is one such structure that maximizes space while adhering to local pool house building codes. With local construction code of Hamptons allowing only a maximum of 200 square feet of construction area for pool houses, the architects had to squeeze in all the required facilities in the limited area. Pool House accomplishes this with effortless panache!Relaxing modern pool house next to contemporary poolOn the outside the pool house complements the contemporary and simple design of the pool while on the inside one can find the kitchenette, daybed, bathroom and a relaxing social zone in a small and space-conscious area. A lovely little dining area sits outside next to the pool and a beautiful wooden pergola draped in greenery offers the necessary shade. In fact, the green landscape around the pool house adds another layer of intrigue to the dashing pool house.
