On the day of Stephen Lawrence?s birthday (13 September), London Marathon Events Ltd and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust have announced an exciting new competition for aspiring young architects to design the Mile Marker for the 18-mile point on the course of the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon. The winning entry will be seen by all 40,000 runners in the marathon and millions worldwide watching the race on television.
