Clay Canoe Ceramics
Clay Canoe Ceramics caught my attention on Instagram and I was sucked in. There is something about their exact but organic feeling shapes. I was also impressed with some of their glazes that feel like watercolors. Some of their forms are very reminiscent of forms found in mid century modern design. I especially like the images where pieces are grouped together in a monochromatic color scheme. Make sure to follow them on instagram.com/claycanoe/ “The forms aesthetic has a predominantly Japanese influence. This was unintentional but as we adore the quiet majesty of Japanese ceramics we are happily embracing their ?Wabi Sabi? approach.” Wyan McAllister and Kyle Roddenby
