Andy Martin Architecture say, “We are not big on blowing our own trumpet, but people are already calling this restaurant the most ‘stunning in the US’. We are happy to take the compliment!”
This is a design that blends Chotto Matte?s signature Tokyo urban vibe with Miami?s tropical life. The 220-seat restaurant and bar features Shou Sugi Ban wood ceilings, a highly graphic marble floor and lush, hanging gardens.
AMA is fast becoming the Designer of choice for Hospitality in North America with new projects in Toronto and Boston already underway on the heels of Chotto Matte Miami.
The large floating ceiling inspired by an abstracted Japanese roof known as ?Irimoya? delivers year-round al fresco dining, with a fully retractable roof.
Imported in its entirety, a 19-tonne Sicilian lavastone boulder creates a dramatic focal point within this ?Cenote? cave between the sushi bar and cocktail area, while vibrant murals created by local street arti...
