Chiyou Jiuli City is a eco-tourism city in Chongqing, China. Its architecture reflects the culture and traditions of Miao nationality. Miao is a nation which migrated to China from Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Northern Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand). Miao architecture is characteristically in harmony with the nature. It makes use of the topography and are practical in design. They use the space and materials economically because the use joints instead of nails.
