Studio Tashkeel Architecture Design The North-west?s Most Environmentally Sound Home Of The Future
Studio Tashkeel Architecture have released plans and progress of the most environmentally focussed new build ?Passivhaus? the region has ever seen, taking the concept of energy retention to a whole new level, rarely seen in the UK.
Dubbed as ?Passivhaus Plus?, the new four bed home in the Charlesworth, is due to set a new benchmark for what is possible in housebuilding in the North West, delivery architects STA are working to achieve a primary energy demand of ?45 kWh/(m²TFA*a), which is one third more efficient than the original Passivhaus Classic standard and 75% more efficient than if built to current UK Building Regulations standard.

? This house will be the UK?s first Passivhaus plus project to include cold zones within the PH envelope.
? The home will use 75% less energy than its equivalent built to UK?s current building regulations.
