Old cramped rooms can be opened by replacing a wall with a load-bearing beam. This is good for creating an open kitchen/dining area, making the living room larger or a huge master bedroom. This is so easy and possible by using the basic framing techniques and standard materials. First you need to take the right measurements and to plan the space well.
