Ceramic Blocks that Supports the Ventilated Facade

Sierravent is a special type of system based on ceramic blocks of extruded hollow clay. This system allows the ventilated facades to be installed without the need for metal structures, fixings or screws. There are two main components: of the system:
– Enclosure wall: which is formed by clinker blocks with fire reaction class A1  and a strength of compression of 15 N / mm², incorporating, in the same piece, four ceramic supports on its external face, on which support the elements seen of facade.
– Exterior facade: can be made of pieces of extruded stoneware, porcelain stoneware, natural stone, amorphous photo voltaic panel, etc.
Among the advantages of the system is the energy saving of the ventilated façade, the ease of assembly and maintenance and the suppression of the metal structure, being suitable for buildings in environments with high air pollution or saline winds.
