On an elongated terrain and with a steep slope towards the Mapocho River, the proposal for Casa El Arrayán resolves the relationship with the nearby neighbors and with the mountain range through two different strategies.

At ground level it generates a series of patios that surround the house, taking advantage of the different orientations and relating the interior rooms with each one of them.

At the same time, the interior spaces open to the east view through openings in the upper level of the walls, which allow connecting the interior of the house with the nearby peaks.
