Calculation of a Specific Type of Step Staircase
The staircase with staggered steps (also called staircase with Japanese steps) can advantageously replace a scale of miller. This staircase has particular small footprint. In fact this staircase is designed like a standard straight staircase but the cutting of the steps makes it possible to pass one foot from one step to the next more easily. This makes it possible to make a staircase with a steeper slope without reducing the depth of the step. In this drawing below, you can see that the way the steps are cut, requires that the climb or descent of this stairway always should be taken with the right foot. The schemes will show you more about this stairs type.
