This was the basic idea that was developed and now is realizing the dreams for descent home for many homeless people. A Colombian enterprise Conceptos Plasticos is founded by Oscar Andres Mendez Gerardino, and aims to replace all informal settlements with decent housing by reducing the waste plastic. They are using an industrial process called extrusion which the multilayered plastics and mixtures of different plastics and rubber are turned into quality construction materials.  They are used for building low-cost, safe, durable housing that can be broken down and rebuilt elsewhere if its necessary.
