Bright House by Jorn Utzon

Jorn Utzon is best know for designing the Sydney opera house. Utzon designed The Bright House and was completed in 1962. The pristine interiors host a list of Danish design classics such as Arne Jacobsen’s Egg Chairs, as well as lighting by Jacobsen, Le Klint, and Verner Panton. The house is constructed from local Aylesbury brick and concrete beams which have been left exposed. The home is like a time capsule full of culture, paints and furniture that echos Danish Modern. In my mind this should be a museum representing an era of design that is relevant still today.
