Welch Architecture has a truly great book of projects. I have featured them in the past but recently came across their work again. The Bachman house is a masterful residence that is fairly minimal from the from. The back of the house has dramatic levels go glass and jutting roof lines. Everything about this home feels to be perfect. The setting and landscape to the choice of materials both inside and out. To me the design reaches back and borrows some design cues from mid century architecture. I could imagine myself living here, of course I would have a few more vintage decor going on in the inside.
