ASWA uses rippled glass to convert warehouse into office in bangkok
in the prompong district of bangkok, ASWA has turned a former warehouse into a new office for property developer, 1.6. with the application of a new glazed façade, the architect has transformed the building into a space that is flooded with natural light during the day, and glows with artificial illumination at night.Â

the building covers a total floor area of 4843.76 ft2 (450 m2) and the new scheme by ASWA comprises one ground floor level and one mezzanine floor level. the program is divided logically by the level of privacy required by each function. the main entrance invites visitors into a large open space, which is created thanks to the gable ceiling. in front of this area is a long glass box that contains a 20 seat meeting room.Â

the main workspace of the office is found at the back of the ground floor level, which houses 18 workstations. a staff pantry is also located at the back of the building, while the mezzanine level houses the managing director?s room, a small meeting room, and a further 12 seats.
