Dr. Bruce Robertson named Director Emeritus and Elyse A. Gonzales named Acting Director
We are happy to announce that Professor Robertson has been named Director Emeritus of the Art, Design & Architecture Museum. In this capacity he will continue to share his expertise and wisdom for the benefit of the Museum. Assistant Director/Curator of Exhibitions Elyse A. In June 2019, Dr. Robertson retired from his positions at UC Santa Barbara. He held the Directorship at the Museum beginning in 2010 and from 1991, he was a professor of American Art in the Department of the History of Art and Architecture. During his 28 years he displayed exemplary leadership and direction both in his home department and at the Museum. While he will be missed we are thrilled he continues to be involved in our efforts.
