Anthropocentric Numbers for the People with Disabilities

In the design of spaces, equipment and furniture, should be taken into account all the diversity of physical characteristics, skills and abilities of users. Reconciling all that implies special requirements that are designed and built for people with disabilities, accessible to all environments are achieved. The dimensions of the living space needed to move and maneuver people that are using wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes and guide dogs, are founded on anthropometry and characteristics of each technical support features. Accessibility is achieved by thinking in spaces and routes, as part of an integrated system. The numbers and space are given in the images bellow visually and symbolically.
