Mechanix Illustrated from the June 1977 showed the process of construction a VW beetle chassis with sleeping and camping for four. This was sensational magazine from the New York city that back in that time was fighting for the DIY projects of that time. That first half of the 20th century this magazine was guiding the readers to make important improves for their home and life in general.
