9 tiny homes you can rent right now

Take a tiny living vacation Editor's Note: This post was originally published in September 2016 and has been updated with the most recent information.
The tiny home craze has had a fortuitous consequence for travelers: It?s now easier than ever to rent a tiny house for your next adventure. That?s good news for anyone looking for reasonably priced lodging while on vacation, and a good test if you want to try tiny living on for size.
But even if you?ve decided that micro living isn?t a fit in the long haul, renting a cute 250-square-foot tiny home can provide a great story and loads of memories?even if you want to bring the kids along.
That being said, it?s not always easy to find a tiny home near you. While new tiny-home hotels?also called villages?are popping up every month, you?ll likely have more options if you choose an individual tiny house. With stocked kitchens, workable bathrooms, and even micro living rooms, tiny home vacation rentals offer tons of amenities. Yes, you?ll have to sacrifice a bit of space compared to other options, but you?ll also be saving some money; the most expensive tiny home on our list is only $130 per night. From a tiny cottage in New York to a minimalist stunner in Seattle, here are nine tiny homes available for rent right this second.
