Excess moisture in your garage can cause problems no matter what you use it for.

Whether it keeps your car enclosed at night, serves as extra storage space, or is a functional workspace, keeping your garage dry is a necessary step in order to keep it sound structurally, safe for you and any equipment, and comfortable all year round. 

Moisture can come from a variety of sources, including rain and snow from vehicles, evaporation of condensation from freezers or other non-temperature-controlled appliances, and even poor drainage systems in the floor.
While you may not have the means to completely renovate your garage, there are a number of ways that you can keep the space dry.
