A design tour de force embraces the classic New York skyscraper and artisan tradition and thoughtfully restores the cultural landmark Steinway Hall

JDS Development Group, Property Markets Group, Spruce Capital Partners, Studio Sofield, and SHoP Architects welcome guests for the first time inside 111 West 57th Street, the bold yet graceful residential tower that soars perfectly centered over Central Park in Midtown Manhattan. The tower, the second tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere, which was designed by SHoP Architects with interior architecture by Studio Sofield, has officially topped out at 1,428 feet following the installation of a 300-foot decorative steel crown, paying homage to the most iconic and celebrated skyscrapers of Manhattan?s pre-war Golden Age. In addition, the first completed residence is being unveiled today on the 43rd floor with interior architecture and décor by world-renowned firm Studio Sofield. The extraordinary full-floor residence spans the full width of the tower, offering a grand living space over 50? in width and unparalleled views of Central Park to the north and the city skyline in all directions.
