Located in the heart of Mayfair, 11 Hanover Square is perfectly situated to access world-class amenities. The building takes pride of place with its Grade A contemporary office accommodation and high-quality reception.
The constraints of the site create a building with two unique façades that each respond to their context, the logistics of co-ordinating demolition and construction of the development was particularly challenging.
This striking south elevation on Hanover Square has attractive dark Piedro Falls charcoal brickwork and Portland Stone window surrounds to create a classical linear composition, suited to its traditional setting. The elevation on Oxford Street is more contemporary with its design responding to the surrounding context. The design of the protruding window bays is a direct response to the rhythm and proportion of the traditional bay windows to the adjoining property. The use of unique faience tiles, with a motif of which is inspired by the geometric design of the nearby Oxford Circus junction, helps provide the building with a unique identity.
