Adobe and fashion designer Christian Cowan debuted an interactive dress that changes colour and pattern at the designer?s Autumn Winter 2024 runway show at New York Fashion Week.
Called the Primrose dress, it features 360 degrees of laser-cut Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) ?petals? with a printed circuit board under each of them which allows the petals to shift colours between shades of silver and ivory.
The first design of the dress was revealed at Adobe MAX 2023 event where it was worn and showcased to the public for the first time.
