LG OLED presents digital versions of Korean artist Kim Whanki's work at Frieze New York | Dezeen
LG OLED Art is exhibiting digitally reimagined works by the late Korean artist Kim Whanki at Frieze New York.
Called We Meet Again in New York, the installation features five select works by Whanki, who was a pioneer of Korean abstract art.
The digital works were designed to emphasise detail and colour in the original works by Whanki, which were created during his time in New York between 1963 and 1974. During this time, Whanki experimented with different materials and techniques including his signature 'all-over dot' style.
The LG OLED Art installation is on display at Frieze New York until 5th May.
