Joe Doucet creates way-finding running gloves using Reebok Flexweave

Joe Doucet is among the three designers tasked by Reebok to create an "imaginative fitness prototype" using its new Flexweave material.
The project, named Woven Into The Future, has seen Reebok partner with the three designers in hopes of showcasing the "limitless potential" of Flexweave ? a material made from strands of fibres woven into a figure-of-8 construction.
Each designer was briefed on creating a product that would perform as an exercise accessory ? the only constraint being that it had to be made from Flexweave.
"Flexweave is going to a major part of the Reebok DNA moving forward," said the company's global marketing director, James Woolard.
"With this creative and imaginative project, we've achieved exactly what we set out to do; demonstrate through collaborations in other fields what Flexweave can truly achieve when put to the ultimate test."
