The AHEAD Global Awards ceremony is the culmination of a two-year programme of events celebrating the best in hospitality design around the world. Watch the ceremony live on Dezeen from 9:00pm UK time.

The AHEAD Global Awards pits the winning entries from two years of the award programme's regional events against each other to champion the strongest hotels from around the world.

The nominees comprise the winners of eight regional events, which have taken place in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East and Africa over the last two years.

Each nominee has submitted a film to demonstrate why it is worthy of an AHEAD Global Award.

The winners will be decided by aggregation of online public voting and the votes of the AHEAD Global Awards' judging panel, which will convene prior to the ceremony on Monday 28 January to debate the merits of the finalists and cast their final votes.
